Help end childhood cancer while playing one of America’s fastest growing sports! St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
USAPA Connection: In 2016, USAPA designated St. Jude as the national charity partner for the organization. As part of our support, USAPA has committed to setting goals and raising funds each year to benefit the children of St. Jude. With your support, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. And now your team or local pickleball club can help the children of St. Jude by combining your love of the sport with easy fundraising activities.
- General member solicitation (optional donation box on membership application and co-branded solicitation letters from USAPA and St. Jude)
- Fundraise through the USAPA National Tournament.
- "Every Point Counts" program. Ask sponsors to donate $1 per point scored during every pickleball game. For a pledge form, click here.
- Host a local pickleball tournament and encourage your community to donate before the event. Unveil the grand total raised for the kids of St. Jude at your tournament.
Go head-to-head and encourage each member in your local pickleball club to fundraise online. The member that raises the most donations by the deadline wins a prize (determined and provided by club). Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
