We’re officially kicking off onboarding to Pickleheads, our new court finder! Pickleheads has replaced Places2Play.

Pickleheads is already used by 600,000 players each month to find courts. It’s a modern tool and includes iOS and Android apps. Not only can players find courts, they can view upcoming open play sessions on a map.

Our goal here is to create the best resource for players across the country. However, we need your help keeping local court and schedule information up-to-date.

By following these simple steps, you can get set up on Pickleheads and start submitting updates to courts in your area:

GET STARTED WITH PICKLEHEADS
** Please complete these onboarding steps by Friday, May 17th.

1.) Create an account on Pickleheads

  • Go to https://www.pickleheads.com/ and click “Join for free” at the top right:
  • If on your phone, click the menu button and then Join:
  • You can join with an email, or by connecting your Google or Facebook account.
  • IMPORTANT: Please use the same email you have for your USAP ambassador account.
  • IMPORTANT: Please add a profile picture. Pickleheads will be adding your profile to court pages you contribute to for recognition:

2.) Watch this onboarding video from Brandon, co-founder of Pickleheads

3.) Update the courts you're responsible for using the process in the video

  • Start by searching your area to ensure all courts are listed. Add courts as needed.
  • You can then use the Suggest edits button on any court page to submit your edits:
  • Edits take 24 hours to go live
  • Your edits will not be published immediately. The Pickleheads team will review edits and publish on a 24-hour turnaround.

4.) Places2Play data has not automatically been imported

  • It’s difficult to tell whether Pickleheads or Places2Play has the most accurate information about a particular court.
  • For this reason, we are not automatically importing Places2Play data into Pickleheads.
  • If you regularly updated information on Places2Play, please make sure to do a full pass on your local area to ensure all courts are on Pickleheads and open play schedules are up-to-date.

5.) The Pickleheads team is available to help

  • Please try the tools first. You all need to become familiar with the Pickleheads system.  However, if you’re having issues submitting your data, you can email edits or Places2Play links to courts@pickleheads.com. During this transition time, the Pickleheads team will make these changes for you.

6.) Let us know what you think

  • If you have any feedback on the process or tools themselves, please email Brandon at brandon@pickleheads.com
  • Pickleheads will use your feedback to build more tools that make this process easier and more efficient.
