Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), is located in Hilton Head, SC and is a subsidiary of Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals and coaches with more than 16,500 members in 125 countries. PPR is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving pickleball pros and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
Recently, USAPA and PPR entered into a multi-year agreement whereby the USAPA participates on the PPR advisory board and has direct involvement in PPR’s pickleball curriculum and program development. As part of the agreement, PPR is the “Official Education and Certification Partner of USAPA.” PPR’s curriculum and certification is being lead by Five-time USAPA Nationals Champion and 2-Time US Open Champion Sarah Ansboury.
PPR combined the resources and education expertise of Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) to develop courses and workshop materials in order to certify PPR members to teach and coach pickleball and provides members with access to liability insurance coverage, equipment discounts, digital training & education and programming ideas.
PPR membership and certification is open to everyone. Existing PTR members can join PPR and add Pickleball certification at a special rate.
Information is now available on the PPR website and registration is now open for those looking to be charter PPR members and register for PPR Pilot Certification Workshops which begin July 15. For further more information, please visit www.pprpickleball.org.
