USA Pickleball Golden Ticket – The Path to Nationals – San Diego

The 2025 USA Pickleball Golden Ticket Series is the ONLY path to qualify for the 2025 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships. There are 18 events that you may choose to play in across the country.

ALL RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND PARTNERS FOR DOUBLES EVENTS. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE CHAMPION LEVEL USA PICKLEBALL MEMBERS ($60/year). Your USA Pickleball membership must be valid through the last day of the tournament (Jan. 26, 2025)

Memberships may be obtained/renewed at www.usapickleball.org

Players must register between December 24, 2024, and March 28, 2025 in order to participate. Payment is required at the time of registration. No exceptions.

• Players must have a UTR profile on www.UTRsports.net
• The UTR-P rating will be used
• Players may sign up without a partner.
• A team is not fully registered until both players have registered and paid.
• Teams will not be admitted to the Main Draw of a doubles event until both players have fully registered and paid AND there is room left in the Main Draw
• Division maximum numbers may be adjusted as waitlists form during the Registration period.

Fees

• Entry fee from December 24, 2024 to February 4, 2025 is $150
• Entry fee from February 4, 2025 to March 28, 2025 is $165
• Division fee is $25 per division
• Weather & Registration Insurance is $28 and is listed as a Division you may select during registration
• All divisions cost $5 less if you choose to sign up as a UTR Power member
• Withdraw Fee is $25

Weather & Registration Insurance $28

• If a player withdraws from the tournament and all divisions before March 28, 2025 11:30pm Mountain Time, they will be issued a refund of their fees minus a $25 withdraw fee and any UTR service fees (usually $1.99 per player)
• If a player is withdrawing AFTER the March 28, 2025, deadline no refund is given unless the player has purchased the Weather & Registration Insurance.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

A withdrawal fee of $25 will be charged if you withdraw from all registered divisions.

Additional Information

• Players withdrawing from the tournament must notify USAP at tournaments@usapickleball.org by end of the day 3/28/25 in order to be eligible to receive a refund of their tournament fees minus a $25 withdraw fee and any service fees charged by the UTR software.
