New Indoor Pickleball Facility Opens Up in Connecticut
Connecticut’s very first indoor pickleball facility recently opened up to rave reviews.
Located in Oxford, the brand new complex consists of four courts with permanent net poles, a cushioned surface and a temperature-controlled environment which is ideal for those cold, wintry days and nights in the northeast. It is also equipped with men’s and women’s locker rooms, custom benches on the north and south sides of the courts, handy shelves and bag hooks to handle equipment and personal items are located along the courts as well.
With new indoor courts to play on, multiple drop-in times are now available along with learn-to-play sessions and private court rentals. Annual memberships are available, but are not needed to use the new facility.
Additional clinics, socials, tournaments, youth programs and special senior programs are on the calendar for future happenings. Instruction for all levels of players — from beginners to those that might like to go pro is just a phone call or text away. Pro instructor, Eden Lica is ready and willing to help your game. Two additional instructors with plenty of gold medal experience are also available.
