St Louis is a “Gateway” For Pickleball Expansion

Innsbrook Resort, just west of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, has been bringing families and neighbors closer since 1971. Now, they are bringing pickleball enthusiasts together for tournament action. An initial event was played in 2016 and improvements were made to the resort courts the following year.

With interest in the sport continually growing and with increased requests from property owners, Innsbrook determined that a new dedicated pickleball facility would ultimately benefit the community with special events/tournaments and play throughout the year. Currently under development are eight brand new pickleball courts which are being added near Charrette Creek Commons, a central hub for numerous sports activities. The new courts are expected to be ready for play at the end of the spring.

Innsbrook offers more of what families are looking for with breathtaking scenery and a range of recreational activities for all ages. Innsbrook’s 7,500 acres includes residential properties, an event center, a public restaurant and an 18-hole golf course.
