National pickleball champion defends title in Senior Games

Six years ago, Rochella Cooper was sitting on a park bench listening to a jazz concert, when she happened to speak to the woman, from out-of-town, beside her. Cooper asked what they did in Florida and the response was pickleball, a game she had never heard of before. Today, Cooper, 82, is preparing to travel, for the second time, to the National Senior Games in Minneapolis/St. Paul, July 9-16, where she will compete in the Pickleball tournament. Read More…
