Pickleball champs, 76 and 79, sing sport’s praises

Bob “The Bulldog” Fox and Jean Kiker took to the winner’s podium at East Naples Community Park to show off their gold medals for the camera on Thursday. While Fox, 76, and Kiker, 79, may not have been the spryest players on the nearly 50 courts of continuous action during the doubles rounds of the inaugural tournament, they are the lifeblood of a sport that is expected to reach 8 million players by 2018.
