Special Olympics Indiana is hosting their very first Pickleball event on Sunday September 13th at the Picklr Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis from 8:30 to 4:30. They are looking for USAP referees to support this event. Any level including Verified Trainees are welcomed. They are offering compensation for the work day. There are volunteer forms that will need to be filled out in advance.
This is a great opportunity to support pickleball. Working a Special Olympics event is not easy as it requires all the attention and focus needed for any tournament event, but some slight modifications in rules are necessary. Please consider giving this a try. You will be glad you worked this event.
