UTR-Pickleball (UTR-P) Rating
USA Pickleball has partnered with UTR Sports as its technology, software, ratings/rankings partner for tournaments, leagues, and recreational activities. More information on this partnership can be found here.
As a part of your membership benefits, we're sunsetting all UTPR ratings and introducing the UTR-Pickleball Rating (UTR-P), a new official rating of USA Pickleball! It's a sophisticated system based on a decade of UTR Sports' experience as the gold-standard in ratings.
How to claim your UTR-P Rating
To get the full benefits of the UTR Pickleball Rating, you are required to claim your profile. As a reminder, this is 100% FREE. UTR Sports has your sanctioned USA Pickleball results, so it’s critical that you find your match to that existing player profile.
It’s easy but very important that you follow these steps precisely:
Important! Do not use the iOS or Android app, and don’t create a second account if you get confused during the process; instead, please email usaphelp@utrsports.com.
- Using Chrome or Safari, go to UTRSports.net and click JOIN in the top right corner.
- Enter your email address and select a password.
- Enter your name exactly as it appears in your USA Pickleball membership profile.
- Click the Sign Up with Email button
- Enter your Zip Code in the location box
- Enter your Phone Number and Date of Birth (both fields are required)
- Click the Continue button
- On the next step, you’ll see your name and profile pop up! Click “Yes this is me”.
Why UTR-P?
USA Pickleball is adopting the UTR Pickleball (UTR-P) Rating and all related systems, including the UTR tournament management software for all USAP-owned and operated events, including all Golden Ticket events and the Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships at the Arizona Athletic Grounds on November 9-17.

- Designed with two categories in mind: experienced players with match history and provisional ratings for those new to UTR-P
