USA Pickleball announced nine additional Golden Ticket National Qualifiers as part of The Path to Nationals, expanding opportunities for athletes across the country to compete for priority access to the 2027 Oceanview USA Pickleball National Championships. The newly announced events join USA Pickleball’s previously announced owned-and-operated Golden Ticket tournaments to create a nationwide qualifying calendar designed to give athletes more opportunities to compete, earn Tiered Point System (TPS) points and pursue their place at Nationals. Hosted and operated by experienced tournament organizers and facilities across the country, Golden Ticket National Qualifiers provide athletes with the same qualifying opportunities as USA Pickleball’s owned-and-operated Golden Ticket events. Winners in eligible divisions earn a Golden Ticket and receive priority registration access to the 2027 Oceanview USA Pickleball National Championships, while all participants earn TPS points based on participation and placement.

“Expanding our Golden Ticket calendar means more athletes can experience meaningful competition closer to home while pursuing their goal of competing at Nationals,” said Mike Nealy, Chief Executive Officer of USA Pickleball. “These tournament organizers and host communities play an important role in The Path to Nationals, and we’re excited to work alongside them to deliver high-quality competitive opportunities for players across the country.”
Golden Ticket tournaments serve as a cornerstone of USA Pickleball’s Path to Nationals. Whether competing at a USA Pickleball owned-and-operated tournament or a Golden Ticket National Qualifier, athletes have the opportunity to earn their way toward the national stage through performance and participation. The Tiered Point System further expands that pathway. Athletes accumulate TPS points through participation and placement at qualifying events throughout the season, rewarding consistent competition and providing an additional route toward the USA Pickleball National Championships. Together with USA Pickleball’s owned-and-operated Golden Ticket tournaments, the newly announced National Qualifiers create a coast-to-coast competitive calendar, bringing The Path to Nationals to communities and players throughout the United States. Additional Golden Ticket National Qualifiers will be announced as the 2027 calendar continues to take shape.
