USA Pickleball Names DePuy Synthes as Official Orthopaedics Sponsor

Sponsorship Will Bring Resources Around Early Intervention Orthopaedic Treatment to the Pickleball Community

USA Pickleball, the National Governing Body for the sport of pickleball in the United States, today announced DePuy Synthes, a global leader in orthopaedic technologies and solutions, as an Official Orthopaedics Sponsor of USA Pickleball, with an exclusive focus on Early Intervention Orthopaedic Treatments. Through the sponsorship, players and fans will connect with educational resources surrounding joint health and early intervention treatment options, including MONOVISC® (High Molecular Weight Hyaluronan), a single-injection treatment for osteoarthritis knee pain. As pickleball continues to attract players across a wide range of ages and skill levels, the partnership reflects USA Pickleball's commitment to providing its community with access to information and resources that can help support an active lifestyle and keep players engaged in the sport they love.
"Supporting our community means connecting players with resources that can help them stay active and on the court," said Christian Portaro, Vice President of Partnerships at USA Pickleball. "We're excited to welcome DePuy Synthes as an Official Orthopaedics Sponsor and work together to bring valuable education around joint health and early intervention treatment options to pickleball players nationwide."
The sponsorship will come to life for the first time at the 2026 Oceanview USA Pickleball National Championships, taking place Oct. 31–Nov. 8 at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego. DePuy Synthes will engage with players and spectators throughout the event, providing opportunities to learn more about MONOVISC®, whether it may be an appropriate treatment option for osteoarthritis knee pain, and resources to help individuals find a healthcare provider.
