Pickleball makes its way to Yucaipa

If one was asked what the fastest growing recreational sport in the U.S. is, what would the response be? Rock climbing? Mountain biking? Pickleball?

Wait. Pickleball? What is Pickleball? Answer: It’s the most rapidly growing recreational sport in the country. And it’s happening right here in Yucaipa.

At the Yucaipa City Council meeting on Monday, March 26, council members declared that this April is “National Pickleball Month.” About 20 Pickleball player-supporters were on hand at the meeting, and even put on a short demonstration for those in attendance. Read More…
