Board Members

The Board is committed to further the growth of pickleball among players of all ages and characteristics. It will continue to provide the infrastructure for the development of the sport through promulgation of official rules, sponsoring and sanctioning tournaments and clinics, ranking players, communicating with its members via e-mail and newsletters, training of all levels of players, and otherwise promoting pickleball.

USA Pickleball is accepting volunteer applications (unpaid) for positions on the 2025 Board of Directors and various Committees. We’re looking for individuals who bring expertise, passion and a deep love for pickleball. Robert Quicksilver

Read Robert's Bio

Robert Quicksilver was elected as Chairman of the Board of USA Pickleball, effective January 1, 2022. He
was an At-Large Member/ Marketing and Communications of the Board for the three preceding years.
Robert served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Charter Communications, where he oversaw its Media Sales, Government Relations, and other divisions. Prior to Charter, Robert served as President of Network Distribution of FOX Broadcasting Company, where he oversaw the business relationship between FOX and its affiliate station group. Robert began his career as a corporate attorney in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. He holds a J.D. from The University of Michigan School of Law and a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College. Robert resides in Miami Beach, FL.

Suzanne Guerin

Suzanne Guerin’s favorite work attire these days is the USA Pickleball shirt she wears that reads REFEREE. As a certified referee for the sport and a board member of the organization, Suzanne enjoys giving back to the sport she loves and plays. For over 40 years Suzanne worked in the nonprofit sector advocating and fundraising for people with disabilities. She co-founded and continues to support a nonprofit for people with combined vision and hearing loss and has successfully influenced legislation that provides technology to this unique group so they can live more independently. As a board member of USA Pickleball, Suzanne serves on the Officiating, Governance, and Recreation and Youth Committees. Suzanne’s long-term goal for USA Pickleball is to see more expansion and growth of the sport in underserved areas and populations. Suzanne and her husband Paul, divide their time between Naples, Florida and Broomfield, Colorado where you can find them on the pickleball courts!

Bob Franceschelli

Bob Franceschelli grew up in New England and has lived with his wife and family in St. Louis for 3 decades. Bob holds an MBA-Management, and worked for 29 years at Anheuser-Busch Inbev in executive-level cross-functional positions, including Operations, Distribution, Field Sales, Entertainment Marketing, Brand Management and M & A. Thereafter, Bob has had a decade-long leadership involvement with Medicare-approved Pritikin. Positions included CEO/President of Intensive Cardiac Rehab, President, Pritikin LLC, and currently as Board Member/Consultant. Bob is involved as a Board Member, Mentor and Early-stage Judge for various organizations, and owns a Management and Marketing Consulting Company. Bob feeds his pickleball passion and desire to “grow the sport”, by serving a second term as a USAP Board Member, Level 2 USAP Referee and Level 2 Certified IPTPA Instructor. Bob plays pickleball recreationally and has medaled regionally and nationally at 4.0/4.5 levels.

Ernie Medina

Ernie Medina, Jr. has a Doctorate in Public Health, focusing on preventive care and lifestyle medicine, and has been on the faculty of Loma Linda University since 2015. Prior to that, Ernie spent 21 years in a medical group focusing on lifestyle-related diseases. Ernie started playing pickleball in 2016 and was introduced to the sport by his mom. He is a USAP Ambassador, IFP Ambassador and PPR certified coach. Ernie teaches pickleball as an adjunct professor at LaSierra University and Crafton Hills College and is the Tournament Director for the LLUH Homecoming Pickleball tournament and Halo Halo Cup tournament.

Philip Bullen

Philip Bullen has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry as both a President/CEO and Chief Investment Officer. He is currently Chairman of Battery Global Advisors and a board member at Geode Capital Management and Geode Trust Bank in addition to USA Pickleball. Prior to this he was Group Chief Investment Officer of Fidelity Management & Research Company and was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Santander Global Advisors. Philip has previously been a member of the investment committee at the Whitehead Institute of Bio-medical Research, a trustee of Boston University and a trustee and member of the investment committee at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. He has an MBA from Bayes Business School, University of London.

Mark Fabbro

Mark Fabbro is originally from British Columbia, Canada, just a short distance from Washington and the home of pickleball, and he was first introduced to the sport in 1980.He reconnected with pickleball in 2020 as a member of a recreational pickleball club in Hingham, MA, and today he is an avid player, certified instructor, and newcomer tournament player. He played Division 1 college hockey while attending Brown University, and he continues to play hockey as well as golf, tennis, skiing, and plenty of pickleball. Mark has 25 years of Marketing and Advertising experience having worked at multiple global Agencies in NYC and Boston, most recently as an EVP at Arnold Worldwide. He has broad experience in brand strategy, media, creative, and marketing and helped build many brands and businesses in industries such as Financial Services, Health Care, CPG, Travel, and Sports.

Stephanie Russell

Stephanie Russell, the daughter of a pickleball devotee and mother of teens, has never before seen a sport or activity bring together generations of family-like pickleball does. The sport is exploding, and, as a recreational player, she is thrilled to be a part of it. Stephanie has a master’s in business administration and 25 years of experience as an attorney. She has worked on and for Boards of Directors, both profit and non for profit, for the last 14 years, including as Assistant Secretary to the Board of an S&P 500 company. Currently, Stephanie is an attorney at The Boeing Company.

Andrew Feffer

Andrew Feffer brings over 30 years of sports industry experience across the professional sports leagues, media and technology. He has led properties in the NFL, NBA, and MLB, including serving as President / COO of the Washington Nationals and NFL Players, Inc. (NFLPA). During this time, Feffer launched the first digital mobile access and payments platforms for teams. He was also at the start-up of the NBA Charlotte Bobcats / Hornets. More recently, he has led sports technology properties delivering integrated digital platforms for membership and access to some of the biggest clubs globally.

Tori Stevens

Tori Stevens boasts over two decades’ worth of global leadership experience in the sports, media and technology industries. Currently, she serves as the CEO for SUP3R, an affiliated company of Superfly. Previously, Stevens held executive positions at GumGum Sports, the Sports Innovation Lab, CSM Sports & Entertainment and the Boston Consulting Group. She also spent 15 years at ESPN where, among many positions, she served as Vice President of Global X Games Events and Operations.
