Jewish Community Center in Indianapolis Introduces Pickleball to International Visitors

Led by USAPA member and pickleball instructor Mindy Simon, players at the Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center in Indianapolis recently spent time teaching the sport to a group of visiting Hungarian and Israeli young adults. The international guests enjoyed learning the game and its nuances and the hosts appreciated being able to show them this unique sport.

The visiting delegation was from Partnership2Gether (P2G), an inclusive and active network of people in the U.S., Israel and countries overseas that is focused on the exchange of ideas and programs. The goal is to develop relationships to strengthen Jewish identity across the globe. Fourteen U.S. communities (including Indianapolis) are linked with Budapest, Hungary and the Akko/Matte Asher Regional Council in Israel’s Western Galilee.
