Pickleball scores with players in western ‘burbs

The game isn’t new. But it is picking up steam in the western suburbs where health clubs and park districts, including in La Grange, Oak Brook, Westmont and Downers Grove, offer lessons and drop-in play. The game has many appeals, said Bill Voigt, a Burr Ridge resident (and USAPA Ambassador) who introduced the game at LifeTime Fitness three years ago.
