USA Pickleball Announces USA Pickleball Hall of Fame and Museum

USA Pickleball is pleased to announce the formation of the USA Pickleball Hall of Fame and Museum. This independent, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization is headquartered in Arizona and has two primary responsibilities:

  • To capture and record pickleball’s unique history for players and the general public in the “Pickleball Historical Museum”; and
  • To recognize those individuals who have contributed to pickleball through their demonstrated, outstanding leadership either as a player or a contributor to the fastest growing sport in America.

The website for this new organization is usap-hof.org/.

The “Pickleball Historical Museum,” which will be the gateway to pickleball’s unique history, is much more than a history and biography of the Hall of Fame members.  It will encompass the complete and comprehensive history of pickleball with topics such as pickleball statistics, paddle equipment evolution, tournaments, courts and human-interest stories. The collection of this data and images will be an on-going project with continual updates.

The second objective is to recognize those individuals who have given so much to the sport through their player skills, their leadership, and their overall contributions. This function will be member-driven,  and vary in its methodology of selection and awarding this honor from other Halls of Fame practices.

The USA Pickleball Hall of Fame is something new and different. To see more of who we are, please visit usap-hof.org/.
