Martinez, Discovery Bay pickleball players bring home medals

George Hurlbert knew Rob Baker before they teamed up as a pickleball juggernaut. Baker had built a pickleball court in his backyard in Martinez and often invited players from all over the area to come over. Baker called Hurlbert up in January and asked him if he wanted to form a doubles team. Hurlbert began going over to Baker’s courts for regular games every Monday and Tuesday.
