Pickleball courts now available for play

For several years, the Dexter Parks Department has offered numerous activities to local sports enthusiasts — from basketball to baseball and tennis. Now, there’s a new sport in town. Dexter Parks Director Lawson Metcalf said approximately a dozen local players had been traveling to Bloomfield and Cape Girardeau to play pickleball. “The sport has really grown,” Metcalf explained. “In all honesty, I expect it to grow here.” Read More…
