Pickleball picks up fans at SummerGlen

The Pickle Pounders relished a big victory as they took top honors in the SummerGlen Pickleball Club Fun Days Tournament three-day series that wrapped up Thursday night. Jim Hoch, a member of the Special Forces team and the club’s tournament and events director, said at least 140 members of the 55-plus community enjoyed the competition, which was as much a social outing as an athletic rivalry.
