FORMAT

• All events, including singles, will offer a pool-play format. If there are not enough teams for pool play, then a round-robin bracket will be played.
• The top-four teams (2 from each pool or 4 from a round-robin bracket) will move forward to the next round.
• All pool-play matches, as well as all pre-medal matches, will be one game to 15, win by two points. The medal matches will be best two-out-of-three games, win by two points.
• The gold-medal winners of each event will earn a Golden Ticket to the 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships.
• This is an MMP sanctioned event.

CONFIRMED REGISTRATION

• For a CONFIRMED spot in an event, both partners must be registered and paid.
• Players without partners or whose partners have not registered and paid will be placed on the waiting list.
• Once their partner signs-up and pays, the team will be moved into the event, IF THERE ARE SPOTS REMAINING IN THE BRACKET AND THE TOURNAMENT.

AGE CATEGORIES

• 5 year age breaks offered for 50 and above.
• 10 year age breaks offered for below 50.

SKILL LEVELS

• Skill levels offered are UTR-P 4.0 (UTPR 3.0) to UTR-P 6.0 (UTRP 5.0).
• No UTR-P 6.5 (UTPR 5.5) or higher rated players may participate.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This is a skill/age tournament for brackets below age 65 and age/skill for brackets 65 and above.
• Partner search is the RESPONSIBILITY of the player.
• Tournament director reserves the right to combine a bracket if needed.

REGISTRATION INSURANCE POLICY

• If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above, you will be issued a full refund without the need to purchase Registration Insurance.
• During registration, you may choose to purchase the insurance ($20) in case you have to withdraw from the event after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above. The last day to purchase the Registration Insurance is June 10, 2024.
• No refunds or credits for any reason after May 10, 2024 if Registration Insurance is not purchased.
