Critical acknowledgement by all participants in the 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships - Player registration communication is by email to the 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships registration coordinator. The only email address handling this communication is nationalsreg@usapickleball.org. If a player elects to send communication anywhere else, he/she runs the risk of it not arriving at the correct email address and missing the deadline date. This is understood at the start of the document and does not need to be repeated throughout the document.

Key Dates to Note:

• 9/8/2023 Midnight CDT – You must be registered for all events you wish to play and have paid the registration fee. Your partner must be registered for all events and paid. If these two steps are not done, then your team will not be considered for the lottery process. It is up to you and your partner to communicate before midnight on 9/8/2023 and ensure you are both paid.  
• 9/8/2023 Midnight CDT - This marks the last day to purchase the 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships Registration & Weather Insurance policy to protect your registration from this date forward. Registration & Weather Insurance fees are non-refundable fees paid to help protect your registration.
• 9/22/2023 – Lottery winners will be announced. If you earn a CONFIRMED spot in an event, you will receive a confirmation email through the Pickleball Tournaments software. All players who have registered for the 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships will receive a tournament update via email communication with a ‘snapshot of their registration’. It will contain important information, so please make sure you read it thoroughly.

Registration and Insurance Policy FAQ:

1) Did I purchase the Registration & Weather Insurance policy for $20 to protect my registration from the time I register until the end of the tournament?

• Yes, I have chosen to purchase the Registration & Weather Insurance Policy. 
  • Any decision to remove an event or withdraw from the tournament needs to be communicated by email to nationalsreg@usapickleball.org. You will be entitled to all fees except a $25 Administrative Fee or $20 Registration & Weather Insurance Policy fee if purchased before 9/8/23 at midnight CDT.
  • Pickleball Tournaments registration staff will handle the email request and reply according to the policy.
  • Insurance fees are non-refundable.
  • Software service fees are non-refundable.
• No, I chose NOT to purchase the Registration & Weather Insurance Policy.
  • My withdrawal date was before 9/8/2023 at midnight CDT.  
    • You will receive a refund less the $25 withdrawal fee and less the non-refundable software service fees.
  • My withdrawal date was after 9/8/2023 at midnight CDT.
    •  I understand NO REFUND will be available to me for any fees paid for this tournament as of 9/8/2023, because I elected not to purchase insurance. 

• I have NO confirmed events at the end of the lottery period and I wish to stay in the tournament hoping to be picked up by someone needing a partner.
  • No action is required, you will stay on the non-confirmed list and remain on the “Player Needing a Partner” list located on the tournament page.
  • I understand a refund of all fees paid less a $25 Administrative Fee for processing my registration, handling all my communications will be returned within 7-10 business days via the same method made at the time of payment.
